In recent years, within the younger crowd, Acapulco has made up some ground on Cancún as a popular Mexican spring break destination. With many available international transatlantic and transpacific flights the resort is well situated to accomodate party tourists from both Europe and North America. Here are some photos from what's going on in the Acapulco nightlife.

No longer only grey haired golden oldies

Since the 20th century, Acapulco has been a popular resort for tourists taking long holiday weekends and cruises from the United States, the Mexican interior and countries in South America. Eventually, it began competing directly with the Cancún on the East Coast as a super-tourist destination. Being a big destination it has now increasingly become a place to party. There are no longer only retired pensioners with grey hair in the resort. You can now also enjoy some clubbing and wild partying.
