At Flickr, Ura Dhura has uploaded 200 photos from a spring break bikini contest at Club Vela in Panama City Beach. Two of the photos can be seen at this page.

These contests seems authentic because real students are participating. Many contests are hiring bikini models to increase the quality of the participants, but in a bikini model atmosphere many regular students who would like to compete end up watching, because they feel they are out of place and only will make a fool out of themselves when competing against professionals.
The original bikini contest phenomenon were based on real everyday girls getting wild and showing off in bikinis, the influx of professional models in this game is sad for all the wild party girls who would like to compete for the prizes.
