Nikki Beach expanded their beach club concept to Vilamoura on the Algarve coast of Portugal last summer. But it's not a club for budget party travellers.

Vilamoura is a jetset destinations with lots of yachts and golf courses. The clientele is generally well-off. The football player Luis Figo owns a little café on the marina of Vilamoura.
In the Nikki Beach club you can enjoy the big opium beds and soak up the sun, but as you can expect from a luxury brand, it comes with a price. According to the owner of the AlgarveBuzz blog, 1.5 litres of water will set you back €12 (that's appx. $20). And the water is not even chilled!
