The American Express Black card shows the nightclub staff and your fellow clubbers that you are a real player.

American Express' Centurion Card

The American Express Black card shows the nightclub staff that you are a real player. The reports I hear from my friends in the hospitality industry is that an unattractive and obese man can easily get the company of the golddigging blonde ladies with long tanned legs. AFTER he has been seen flashing his card.

The Centurion Card, popularly known as the Black Card, is the most exclusive charge card issued by American Express. The Centurion Card provides access to a range of exclusive privileges.

How to get it?
Originally you would be an Platinium Card holder which received an invitation from American Express to start using the card.

In the United States, invitations are no longer sent for the card. To be approved for the Black Card, one must make a request and meet the strict criteria below. As of 2007, the annual fee in the United States was $2,500.

Should you bother to request?
In order to qualify for the card you should have a minimum annual spending of $250,000, exceptional credit history and significant financial assets. Certain requirements may be waived for celebrities and public figures. Requirements for acceptance in other countries can differ slightly.

Enough money to pay the fees
There is a US $5,000 one-time initiation fee for new primary card holders, plus the annual fee of US $2,500.

Benefits of the card
There are many benefits of the card, here are some:
* Access to the finest airline lounges.
* Free stays at Mandarin Oriental hotels.
* Personal shoppers at retailers such as Escada and Gucci.
* Extra service from bartenders and staff who are dealing with you.
* Blondes with long legs will suddenly approach you out of nowhere after you have paid something.
